Parents Association

The Parents’ Association was set up in 2009. The purpose of the Parents’ Association is to provide a structure through which the parents of the children attending the school can work together for the best possible education for their children.

The Parents’ Association works with the Principal, staff and Board of Management to build an effective partnership between home and school. They regularly support the school team when it comes to policy writing as we believe our parents input and voice is vitally important.

All parents are deemed to be members of the Parents’ Association. Parents are elected to the committee at the AGM which is held during the first school term. CarrieAnne Duffy is the current Chairperson to the PA.

Newsletters are produced during the school year with articles on future events and on information and activities of interest to parents.

The Parents’ Association meet regularly throughout the year for planning and discussions.
