Mission Statement and Ethos

School Mission Statement

In keeping with the ethos of St. Michael’s House, our school Mission Statement is:

To promote the Spiritual, moral, cultural, intellectual and physical development of our pupils and to prepare them for opportunities, responsibilities and the experiences of adult life.

We aim to do this by:

  • Providing a broad and balanced curriculum relevant to each child’s individual needs.
  • Providing a challenging, stimulating and comfortable educational environment, which includes opportunities to become part of the local community.
  • Ensuring equality of opportunity for every pupil to experience and benefit from all aspects of school life.
  • Valuing the contribution of all members of the school staff and providing opportunities for personal and professional development within the framework of school policy.
  • Developing a partnership between home, school and community.
