Summer Holidays
Summer Holidays are here. It doesn't have the same impact as most years when there is an air of excitement in the school (and maybe an air of dread at home!). It's been such a long, arduous and challenging time for our pupils and their families. It is our pupils and their families that we are thinking of today. We know how hard it now is to face into another couple of months of school closure time. You have tried to manage without home supports, possibly removed from family supports, no respite services and no break whatsoever. Please know that our hearts are with you and we send you all the love and strength you need to get through this next period.
You have been amazing and we think you are all wonderful. To celebrate how wonderful we think you are, we have compiled this song (with your help of course) and we hope it reflects how we feel about our pupils, our families, our staff and our wonderful school.
Again I would like to acknowledge our teacher, Jess, who is the master behind this "wonderful" video.
We are still awaiting guidance from the Department of Education and Skills on how to Re-Open our school in September. But please be assured that we will communicate with you when we have further information.
In the meantime, stay strong and stay safe.
Best wishes
Ann & the Baldoyle School Team
